Of course: Obama USDA delays shale drilling, up to 200k jobs. "President Obama's United States Department of Agriculture has delayed shale gas drilling in Ohio for up to six months by cancelling a mineral lease auction for Wayne National Forest (WNF), in deference to environmentalist fears, to study the effects of hydraulic fracturing."
These people have yet another golden calf: Heaven Is a Place Called Elizabeth Warren. Good grief: EU SAYS WATER IS NOT HEALTHY. It's no joke:
In a scarcely believable ruling, a panel of experts threw out a claim that regular water consumption is the best way to rehydrate the body. The bizarre diktat from Brussels has far-reaching implications for member states, including Britain, as no water sold in the EU can now claim to protect against dehydration. How long before the EU bans the breathing of air?

Must be the continuing whoremongering hangover: A crushing loss for Woods, a lead for Americans. "In the 112 matches of various formats that Woods has played in his professional career, he never had a loss like this one. Playing again with Steve Stricker, an American tandem that was unbeatable two years ago, they didn't win a hole and didn't make a birdie in tying the Presidents Cup record for the worst loss ever, 7 and 6."

Bad teacher: Julio Artuz, 15-Year-Old Special Needs Student, Records Teacher Verbally Abusing Him
No one believed 15-year-old Julio Artuz when he said he was being bullied by a teacher at school -- not even his parents.
So the special needs student sought proof, by filming an encounter with said teacher at Bankbridge Regional School in New Jersey, NBC10 reports.
"Don't call me special," Artuz told the teacher.
"What? Oh my god, f-ing. What does the sign on the front of the school say? Special education," the teacher yelled back.
Artuz defended himself by saying that when he got out of the school, the teacher couldn't call him special anymore. In response, the teacher made a threat.

Slavery still exists: Young jobseekers told to work without pay or lose unemployment benefits
Britain's young unemployed are being sent to work for supermarkets and budget stores for up to two months for no pay and no guarantee of a job, the Guardian can reveal. How is that different than slavery?
Under the government's work experience programme young jobseekers are exempted from national minimum wage laws for up to eight weeks and are being offered placements in Tesco, Poundland, Argos, Sainsbury's and a multitude of other big name businesses.
The Department for Work and Pensions says that if jobseekers "express an interest" in an offer of work experience they must continue to work without pay, after a one-week cooling-off period, or face having their benefits docked.

Wall Street Journal: Another ObamaCare Glitch
Even if ObamaCare survives Supreme Court scrutiny next spring, its trials will be far from over. That's because the law has a major glitch that threatens its basic functioning. It's so problematic, in fact, that the Obama administration is now brazenly trying to rewrite the law without involving Congress.States that implement an exchange are helping Obama.
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act offers "premium assistance"—tax credits and subsidies—to households purchasing coverage through new health-insurance exchanges. This assistance was designed to hide a portion of the law's cost to individuals by reducing the premium hikes that individuals will face after ObamaCare goes into effect in 2014. (If consumers face the law's full cost, support for repeal will grow.)
The law encourages states to create health-insurance exchanges, but it permits Washington to create them if states decline. So far, only 17 states have passed legislation to create an exchange.
This is where the glitch comes in: ObamaCare authorizes premium assistance in state-run exchanges (Section 1311) but not federal ones (Section 1321). In other words, states that refuse to create an exchange can block much of ObamaCare's spending and practically force Congress to reopen the law for revisions.

But we balance that against the conviction that there is something totalitarian in the idea the state can force a woman to bear a child that she, for whatever reason -- incest, rape, illness, deformity or grinding poverty -- does not wish to bear.So what's different when a woman doesn't want to raise her 2-week old baby because of things like grinding poverty? What makes murder OK before birth?
