Culture of corruption (cont'd): Ex-chief of Oakland County Democratic Party gets probation for fake tea party scheme. "A former chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party was sentenced to one-year probation, 180 hours of community service and $1,965 in fines Wednesday for his role in a fake Tea Party during the 2010 election."

More corruption, in this case the fleecing of taxpayers: Group: 40 Wayne County retirees make $100K or more in pensions. "Forty ex-employees retired with annual pensions of more than $100,000, according to a report released today by a national taxpayer’s right group."
